AnimalTrack is a software tool that is designed to allow animal shelter workers and volunteers to spend less time with paperwork and reports, and more time with the animals in their care.
AnimalTrack automates some of the routine record-keeping tasks that occur in an animal shelter. By entering information about the animals, such as their characteristics, personality, immunizations, veterinary trips, adoption status and history, the shelter can run reports that return information about the animals.
The reports can be used to determine past history (such as adoption information and trends), as well as future needs (such as which animals are due for certain immunizations).
The product was designed for, and is being used by PAWS Atlanta, Inc. in Atlanta, GA.
Knowing that there is a need for this type of software, T Tucker Technologies is making this beta version of the software available for use at no charge or obligation to organizations or individuals who shelter animals.
Note About Beta Software
When software is created, it goes through several stages of testing before it is officially released. Software is usually tested first by a limited number of people. Beta software is software that is distributed for testing and evaluation by a larger group of people. Are there likely to be defects (bugs) in the software? Yes. However, the software has been tested enough that the basic functionality should be working in a majority of cases.
